Pelton Fell Community Partnership
At its heart, the Clean, Green and Safe Charter is saying that we want the
best for everyone; for ourselves, our neighbours and the whole community. We
want the best for our children and grandchildren; a safe place, a great
place to play and grow up in, to be healthy and strong with lots of friends
in a friendly village in a nice environment to explore and enjoy
Residents have told us that this is what they want. And children and young
people say the same too.
The survey last August said this as have previous surveys. People do not
want litter, dog mess or nuisance behaviour. They want a Clean, Green and
Safe environment. So Pelton Fell Community Partnership worked with all of
the service providers - DCC, Police, Housing Associations etc., and they
have all provided promises what they will do and these are written in the
Charter campaign which will last at least three years. Now it's up to us to
respond - like the members of the new Community Action Group - and make
plans for how we can all work together to make Pelton Fell a place of choice
to live - because Together We Can!
It's in our everyday activities that as active citizens we contribute to
help create a friendly neighbourhood with nice environment and good
community projects - and we will see that as a community, we can actually
achieve anything we want to! So talk to your neighbours and friends and help
make a difference
