Pelton Fell Community Partnership

Closure of the Centre

As a result of the Central Government re-designating the area as Tier 4 in regards its Covid-19 policy, with effect from  Thursday 31st of December 2020, the Brockwell Centre will be closed until further notice.

When it does re - open, hours for people dropping in will be limited to 11.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m. on weekdays (i.e. Mondays to Fridays inclusive). Access to the Centre outside those hours will be by prior appointment or through attendence associated with the previous booking of the facilities.

To safeguard themselves and others from the COVID-19 virus, visitors to the Centre should be aware of and comply with, the current government advice on visiting community centres and any additional advice relating to the activity they will be taking part in. As such, behaviour will be restricted over that permissable prior to the virus outbreak.

Within the Centre, Notices are posted which set out the behaviour required and anyone not complying with the Notices or advice from sataff will be asked to leave. These Notices will be reviewed and revised as necessary in the light of any changes in Government advice.

A programme of activities is now being developed and is expected to change over the next few months as the ways of dealing with the effects of the virus are publicised.

Reconvened Partnership Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020

The 11th AGM of the Partnership which took place at the Centre on 15th September 2020 starting at 11.30 a.m had to be adjourned as the meeting was inquorate.

The meeting was held on Wednesday 14th October 2020. In brief the meeting considered and approved:

(a) Reports and accounts for 2019/2020;

(b) The appointment of the Independent Examiner for 2020/2021;

(c) Election of Directors for a period of up to 3 years from 2020 to 2023
